Hello, long time no see!

I am in sweden now. After this well deserved brake from Sweden with my family and friends in Finland, I am here.

I've been super busy and living for the fullest, photographing and doing everything between sleeping and hectically photographing and running around.

Here is some photos from our secondhand photo-assignment I just took last week.

Lovely Beata was kind enough to be amazing for me in the photos, a huge thanks! (lovely classmate with wonderful personal style in photography and as a person)

Oh, It is like full summer around here, I am walking around in a small T-shirt without freezing, hell yeah. I went out for a walk and met some friends from the class on the Garpe-hill. Also some car-washing occurred afterwords. Here is some pics from today:

That actually was a baby-snake (so I kind of jumped away, fast)

Exhibition!

Hi there fellow humans!

Our class is going to have an exhibition in Stockholm next Thursday (7/4) to introduce the next 22 photographers that will take over the world, to the people of the world. Anyone is more than welcomed to drop by. The opening of the exhibition is 7.4.2011 between 17:00-20:00 and you can visit the exhibition until 19.4.2011. At Galleri Dobre, Fotoskolan Stockholm, Kungstensgatan 45, Stockholm. Come and drink some wine! :p

The sun is shining, I can wear canvas shoes and I ate my breakfast on the balcony, nothing more lovely!
Im searching for photos for many different things that I have to do. One is for a exhibition we are about to have i Stockholm with the class. And Im searching photos for many more interesting things.
I found these in a map on a school-computer from a previous assignment and tried to do something else with them in Photoshop. All the other pictures from the shoot went to France with my external hard-drive that went on service there. But everything was deleted from the drive when it came back. (Not that its working)
But as I was moaning about this, I found out that my friend have them on her hard-drive as she was kind enough to loan her camera for the shoot. Yay! Thank you :)

So for the school-assignment that I photographed the smoke for, was for a project-course we had all week.
For a made-up job-assignment for RFSU, (National Association for Sexuality Education in Sweden) to teenagers about how important safe sex is. This is what I came up with and created.

So for a school-assignment I was photographing smoke. As the evening evolved, the smoking (water-pipe) moved inside when we celebrated Jonas's birthday. On Tuesday its Ida's turn to turn years. Fun!

So proud of our class for working their asses off for the KlaraG-assignment!

Now when we've had a still-life photo shoot, I can imagine to do some more of them, but with much more planning, so that I will be as pleased as I want me to be.

My lovely friend is on her way home after a wonderful weekend of fun. I hope the village didn't bore her too much.

The weekend went by with a swing and hopefully more friends will have the courage to visit me in this "no mans land"-village of Sweden. And the next visitor is soon on the way, my very own boyfriend. YAY!

So I have my camera now after all that waiting. Wonderful!
Tomorrow I will photograph in the studio with it, for the KlaraG-assignment.
Here are some moodboards and the makeup i borrowed from a shop, kind enough to trust me with it. Hopefully I will not scratch or damage the makeup, when the eyeshadow alone costs 485SEK (about 55euros). I will damage my own makeup for the shoot and photoshop it in the picture. Hopefully you will see some great pictures soon. Ill tell you more about my idea for the pictures later.

So its been a half week of exams and Im ready to take it easy tis weekend, don't know if that will happen because its the last weekend in Gamleby before the holidays. YAY, soon I will meet my family and friends and all the people iv'e been missing from my life for the past 4 months. Its crazy, iv'e been here for that long already. And Im doing fine :)

So because we had these theoretical and technical exams and courses for so long now, we got an lovely assignment from the artsy teacher, with the greatest of names (Helena), also from Finland;
metamorphosis, transformation.. so the guys from my class kindly to participate and transformed a little. It was a blast, and the guys strangely enjoyed it a lot (or not that strange).
But i was a dumb-ass to notice just after the shoot that i photographed in a smaller format then wanted, darn. But I got something out of them, and you will later be shown the ones that I printed.

Finland's Independence day is today, so party with me!
From this day to wednesday we have exams in Photoshop and stuff. For today Im done, and this is how I celebrated the wonderful thing that I have home-country that doesn't belong to Russia.
Note the laptop with live broadcast from the "castle ball" at the presidential palace!

Oscar took a picture of the phenomenon.

And to my second part of my patriotism, Suck on that :)

I have to say that Im so much more patriotic when Im live abroad, but that is just because Finland is the best country of them all. :)

I kind of like this weather, its impossible to get anywhere without a greater effort and its too much snow for it too bee annoying. I have to say, I think Im enjoying it. I hope we will go sledding soon (pulka/pulkka). We measured 70cm of snow yesterday! :P

In Stockholm. ! Its freezing outside. And now i have seen the video-guy live, i have to say it was much better then i thought. And I know how to ride the subway, get around and stuff, Im so cool!

I had to go to my old-school roots on Wednesday, when we had a small party at "ours".

This was caused of the alcohol thingy i bought, this small über fjortis/pissis (dont know any word for it in english) drink, with the taste of tangelo and ginger. Fortunately I didn't get drunk.

But I did feel beautiful inside, as you see, this was the winter edition, if you turn it around it sparks, with millions of glitter molecules. Haha, I say!

So we have the videoclips for the course that i have been watching the whole time. Im frustrated because i cant stay awake. :D I have started to enjoy to write the titles for my notes because i get more alert after that again. We will have a wall-montage on the Fotomässan in Stockholm with lots of pictures from the pupils of Gamleby fotoskola. And Im trying to find something to give them, I hope and I think they don't mind that my pictures are not taken under the period of Gamleby.
And I found this one a really really bad photoshopped picture that I tried to rescue. Maybe maybe..

Tom did answer ! and Im waiting for the next answer. Here some pictures from Gamleby in the waiting on my hard-drive pictures. I will post more pictures of the life here some day :) The Fotomässan Stockholm 2010 (a photo convention in Stockholm) is soon and Im so excited about it, i want to get over-inspired and go crazy! And the best thing is that I will spend the weekend in Stockholm with my beloved. :)

Lets see how it goes, i still don't have a pace to stay but maybe I just go to a public toilet and do the homeless stunt.

Yo nutshell, so we have had a test on tuesday, I think it went ok, ill pass.
And we celebrated Jonathan's birthday on wednesday with a little party. I have some photos from that, but my little hard-drive said goodbye to me yesterday, so I don't have pictures from that to show. Or the school assignment from our lovely Finnish teacher with the beautiful name Helena, who is the GF-photography teacher, the artsy one. She is lovely. The assignment was making our own paradise.
This is mine in beautiful phone-camera quality. Thank you to all the models you may find in the picture. I printed a lot of my friends for the "picture", but I didn't have pictures that fitted in :C but the idea is the same. my friends and family is in paradise, but maybe on a hike in the lovely mountains or swimming in the blue sea! :

Hi just wondering about my life, its great, never been better actually, but I do miss home.
I just got my hard-drive from Finland some weeks ago, and now I plugged it in my computer for the first time. Such a memory-whirl to look at photos from the past. Love! Now, some of them photos:

Hi there, I will be poor at updating, but u know me, I do everything in slow-motion. So I will not even apologize.
It was such a joy to be home in Finland, see some friends and loved ones. Im like a new person now, happy and full of energy. Ready to photograph and be inspired by people and life.
We have had (for the last two weeks) Johan Westin as our lecturer in lighting. He is very good, but can talk about meaningless things for an hour in overtime. I have learned much, here is some pictures from the course.

I made a leaf-dress, it was fun, the pictures didn't get as nice as I wanted, but it was the "first time in the studio"-syndrome. But lovely Johanna in the picture saved them.

I think if we would had more than a week for the assignment I would be more happy with the pictures. Now I didn't get to think how I wanted to do my work and didn't get that many ideas, so I just went with the first one. Lets hope Westin likes them.

Just some pictures from Gamleby and life. :)

My room when it was clean and tidy.

The floor was so cold that i needed a rug, it was had, but with some inspiration from the Gamleby-camel, i had to buy this. I love it, altho i have a hard time stepping on the men and camels on the carpet. Its so rude u know, but i think i already disrespected them buy putting it on the floor instead of he wall.

It looks like Finland outside, its not that different, altho I think the Swedes tend to take more care of their nature.

I do want 3 apple-trees, a white Gamleby-house and an allé (allée? a "road" with trees on the sides) from Sweden shipped to Finland. I have to say that "borta bra, men hemma bäst" I miss the über logical land. But the thing i don't miss is the middle-age women that have to brag and complain about everything in a disturbing noise.

But this is a crazy country.
